Proposals must include the following information:
- a list of team members of with descriptions of individual and collaborative research interests and history
- a clear description of the proposed initiative, including intended impact(s) within related CBI key research area(s), initiative strategy and operations, and related research, education, or outreach activities;•a list of open or expected funding mechanisms the initiative will target; and
- a budget narrative describing how grant funds will be used to develop and/or position the faculty cluster to compete for extramural funding within two years. Applicants are encouraged to propose creative or unique approaches to achieve proposed goals.
Eligibility
Teams must be led by a CBI faculty affiliate. Applicant teams should represent an existing or developing faculty cluster that includes at least two CBI faculty affiliates. Faculty clusters may include other Ohio State researchers and/or colleagues at partner institutions. Applicants are encouraged to identify the proposed program or center leader; however, the application may be submitted by another member of the faculty cluster.
Format
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, and must be submitted as a single PDF file including: a cover page including proposal title, applicant team lead name and contact information; proposal narrative (maximum 3 pages, including budget); and CVs for all faculty cluster members.
